The TaylorMade Qi Steel Iron is designed with ultralight components and loft adjustments. Created to enhance clubhead speed and increase carry distance for golfers with a moderate swing. 
The Integrated Design System incorporates technologies designed to optimize each individual iron head. FLTD CG strategically positions the CG (Centre of Gravity). This design creates better launch and precision and control in scoring clubs.

The design of the iron promotes a consistent impact with the golf ball. This is helps achieve accuracy and distance in golf shots. The larger sweet spot means that there is a greater area on the clubface where contact with the ball results in an effective shot. This is beneficial for players who may not consistently hit the centre of the clubface. Additionally, its longer blade length increases the club's moment of inertia (MOI), providing more forgiveness. 
The iron's edge geometry plays a role in how it interacts with the turf and the golf ball, enhancing the club's performance and help golfers achieve a more consistent strike. A higher launch is often desirable, especially for players looking to maximize distance and control.
